Details
The brushwork suggests influences from East Asian art traditions, which have seen some presence and influence in African art through historical interactions and cultural exchange. The depiction of the antelope, particularly the horns, bears resemblance to the greater kudu, an antelope species native to eastern and southern Africa, including Zimbabwe. likely inspired by the art of Zimbabwe, formerly known as Rhodesia.
