Joy Broe’s Fortune I (Black),1990 is a striking mixed media composition that combines geometric abstraction with richly textured materials. At its center lies a circular form bordered with a copper-like rim, enclosing embossed patterns in shades of purple and bronze that resemble rivets and ridges.
