The Open Window (La fenêtre ouverte)

This open reproduction lithograph print reproduces Pierre Bonnard’s iconic 1921 painting The Open Window. The composition contrasts the vibrant warmth of an interior — red‑orange walls, patterned shutters, and wooden railing — with the cool greens and blues of the sunlit landscape beyond. A small woman and a black cat in the lower corner add intimacy to the scene. Bonnard’s expressive brushwork and color contrasts capture atmosphere, domestic quiet, and the interplay of interior and exterior spaces.
